Post-demo work - the rest of the game!

After releasing the demo last month and doing a couple of updates, it's now time for...


Yes, that fun stage where I just have to make the rest of the game! Easy work.

But it does mean I can get back to some proper blockout and level creation, which I love, and I've been refamiliarising myself with my old notes on the game logic and flow. Turns out I had forgotten quite a bit, and there is still some work to do on finalising the endgame states, but it's more or less all there.

I'll probably just do some very blockout-y versions of the last few levels, get the logic in there and make sure it can be completed from start to finish - a playable alpha basically. Having said that I couldn't help myself start properly making the next area - the tram ride:

At the end of the demo, we last saw Jacob disappearing deeper into the temple on board a tram. In the final game we discover what he finds there, and so, so much more I'm not going to spoil for you :)

Anyhow, on with the work. Keep following for more updates!
